IPRS stands for “Integrated Payment & Reimbursement System.” Recently renamed NCTracks, it is a multi-payer Medicaid Management Information System for the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). The system is in place to provide a full range of services to meet the mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities and substance abuse (MH/I/DD/SA) needs of North Carolina citizens.
Mountain Area Community Services, Inc. (MACS) provides comprehensive, long-term services to help those diagnosed with I/DD issues become more independent and functional in their daily life. With MACS’ IPRS services, those with disabilities and impairments can learn to live on their own and function at a job.
WNC Services for I/DD
MACS is a private company that offers a full spectrum of services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in need. Our personnel provide training to help all our service recipients reach their optimal physical, intellectual, emotional and social potentials. Our IPRS services include:
- Personal Care: We perform those daily activities such as feeding, bathing and dressing for service recipients while training them to do these things for themselves.
- Respite Care: We give caregivers periodic and temporary relief from their caring chores, so they can collect and restore themselves.
- Individual Habilitation: We provide training and support to help service recipients gain the skills they will need to successfully integrate into society.
If you have any questions about these services, contact us online. We accept referrals from family members, guardians, care coordinators, managed care organizations and concerned individuals.
